Interested in storytelling through images, I have experimented with different ways to represent stories in traditional and digital forms. Learning printmaking has influenced my illustration styles, including a basic structure composed of intricate lines, a magical atmosphere through blending fictional elements into realistic scenes, and the use of complementary colors and tensioned compositions that accentuates the artwork’s subject and theme. The mixture of hand-drawn and computer graphics is also a common feature of my drawing technique. I draw lines by hand to create compositions before using digital retouching tools to adjust colors and details, as it preserves both the artistic freedom of my hand-drawn sketches and the delicacy of computer graphics.
